This variables indicates the difference between the monthly benefit between a worker receiving an income of 50% of the "standard worker" and a worker receiving 150% of the "standard worker".

The "standard worker" is defined as:

- 40 years of age

- worked or contributed for 12 months over the last 24 months before unemployment

- income is equal to the national average income

The average monthly replacement rate is based on whatever is the determined duration for a worker with these criteria.
