This indicator calculates the average external sources spent on health per capita in USD currency. External sources compose of direct foreign transfers and foreign transfers distributed by government encompassing all financial inflows into the national health system from outside the country. This indicator describes the size of the external sources for health expenditures in relation to the population size facilitating international comparison.
