The indicator referes to the participation in the International Large Scale Assesment called: Programme for International Student Assessment. The triennial PISA measures 15-year-olds’ ability to use their reading, mathematics and science knowledge and skills. It is administered by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).
Coding rules
Participation in one of the studies is coded with 1. All are combined in this indicator. If only a part of the mentioned country took part, we still code it as the larger entity. For example for participation of Dubai, we code the United Arab Emirates.
