|description = The indicator referes to the participation in the International Large Scale Assesment called:  Programme d’analyse des systèmes éducatifs de la CONFEMEN (PASEC). Created in 1991, the CONFEMEN Programme for the Analysis of Education Systems (PASEC) aims to provide information on changes in the performance of education systems in order to assist in the formulation and monitoring of education policies. In two decades, it has carried out 35 national assessments in more than twenty countries in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Since 2012, PASEC has been implementing international comparative assessments in order to better respond to countries' needs. It is administered by the Conférence des ministres francophones de l’éducation nationale des pays ayant le français en partage (CONFEMEN).
