The Gini Coefficient measures income inequality of a population. This indicator is based on the calculations of the Luxembourg Income Study Database (LIS).
Coding rules
The Gini Coeffizient ranges between "0" and "1". "1" refers to a complete unequal distribution of income and "0" to a complete equal distribution of income.
